Jacqueline rush lee Transform Old Books Into Beautiful Sculptures. For more than seventeen years she have changed utilized books into models through an extensive variety of imaginative methodologies. Working with the way of the books that she find, keen on digging into the inside scenes of books to make new stories.
Giving new life to the old, she have high-let go books in furnaces with no mud mediation to make “Fossilized” Book Remnants. Jacqueline have splashed, dried and screwed books together into tree-like structures for her Volumes Series 2001, and she have submerged books in inks and re-mixed the books’ parts to make book forms that recount another story.
